What is a 'VIN'?
A 'VIN' is the abbreviated term for a Vehicle Identification Number. It is a seventeen digit code recorded on your vehicle registration papers, or on the alloy plate under a car bonnet. A VIN contains almost all information about a particular vehicle, from its colour to when it was manufactured. The VIN displays a car's unique features, specifications and its manufacturer.
Why do you need my VIN?
Checking the VIN is the most reliable way to ensure compatibility of a part with your vehicle.
Car manufacturers continuously make changes and improvements to existing models. The nature of these changes can vary, but the important thing is that two cars of the same model, produced at different times, can differ significantly.
Do you have a warranty?
All mechanical parts sold by GoodState Spare Parts come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. You are entitled to a refund or replacement provided goods are deemed to be faulty by GoodState Spare Parts.
All electrical parts and components sold by GoodState Spare Parts come with a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery. You are entitled to a refund or replacement provided goods are deemed to be faulty by GoodState Spare Parts.
Any warranty exceptions?
The warranty will be considered void if there is evidence to suggest a purchased part has been dismantled, tampered with, used in modified or incompatible vehicles, used in performance or race competitions, or used off road.
Our warranty does not cover claims associated with any of the following:
- Incorrect/insufficient fluids/oils, - Overheating/removed heat tab, - Improper installation/application, - Accident damage/overloading/misuse, - Unauthorized installation/repairs, - Failure to sufficiently maintain the part.
How long will it take to dispatch my order?
At GoodState Spare Parts we understand the importance of fast and reliable delivery. We will endeavor to post your order within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment. Generally, orders placed and paid before 12 pm on a business day are dispatched on the same day.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Regular and express delivery options are available at checkout.
Express parcels sent within the Australia Post Express Post Delivery Network are usually delivered overnight on business days. It takes slightly longer to deliver an express parcel to areas which are outside the Express Post delivery network (generally 1-3 business days).
Regular delivery may take between 2 to 14 business days to arrive, depending on the courier selected and buyer's location. Generally, regular delivery to metropolitan areas takes 2-5 business days, or 3-10 business days for remote areas.
Do you offer express delivery?

How can I track my order?
You will receive an email with details on how to track your order, along with a tracking number.
Can I pick up my order?

We are generally here from 9 am to 6 pm on business days. For pick up outside of normal business hours or on weekends, please contact us.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your order because generally orders are dispatched within 24 hours of purchase.
What should I do if I cannot find a part I need on the website?
At GoodState Spare Parts we can source 95% percent of spare parts that have ever been produced. If you need a part not listed on our website, please contact us with your VIN and as many part details as possible.
I am not sure if I am buying the correct part. What should I do?
Please contact us with your VIN and reason for needing the part.
Do you accept returns?
GoodState Spare Parts handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.
Should you wish to return your order, please contact us within 30 days of the delivery date with a valid reason for the return.
All returned goods must be new, undamaged and uninstalled, and returned in undamaged original manufacturers packaging (may be opened). This means good should not be fitted (unless proven faulty).
All electrical parts and components cannot be returned unless proven faulty.
A full refund or item exchange (of equal or lesser value) will be provided in cases where a purchased item is deemed faulty.
A combination of item exchange and refund may be provided in cases where the replacement item is of lesser value than the item originally purchased.
All returns and exchanges are subject to inspection by GoodState Spare Parts before a refund or exchange is granted. All refunds are made at the discretion of GoodState Spare Parts.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return Shipping is paid by the buyer if there is a change of mind OR the buyer provided incorrect vehicle details OR the buyer purchased an incorrect part without checking compatibility with us OR for any reason(s) other than the buyer receiving a faulty item. Otherwise, return shipping is paid by GoodState Spare Parts.
Can you send a refund to another bank account?
Refunds will be processed promptly by the same method as payment was made. We are only able to transfer refunded amounts back to the account(s) originally used to facilitate the transaction.
Can I return specially ordered parts?
All specially ordered parts are non-returnable, or a subject to 50% restocking fee (refunds for specially ordered parts are at our absolute discretion).
Specially ordered parts deemed faulty by GoodState Spare Parts are eligible for a full refund via the original purchase method.
