How to Upgrade the Toyota LandCruiser 76-79 Series to a Multifunctional Dash Clock with a Temperature Sensor

Greetings, fellow retrofit enthusiasts!

Tired of your mates chuckling at your basic old clock without an alarm, stopwatch, or outdoor temperature display? It`s time to show them who`s boss! Upgrading your LandCruiser 2009–2023 is simpler than you think. First, ensure you have the wiring for the outdoor temperature sensor, located in front of the radiator on the central crossmember behind the bumper. You`ll see a wire with a plug going nowhere. If you`ve got that, all you need is our fantastic multifunction clock and sensor kit.

Unplug the dummy plug from the wiring, connect the sensor, and attach it back to the crossmember.

Next, head inside, remove your old basic clock, and plug in the new one. Screw everything back in place, and voilà, you`re done!

Now, if you don`t trust weather forecasts, you can check the real temperature yourself by hopping into your trusty LandCruiser, which will never lie to you.

But wait, there`s more! This multifunction clock lets you time your 0–60 km/h acceleration or see how quickly your Kelpie herds the sheep back into the pen. If you`re a frequent traveller and want to be punctual, set the alarm and wake up to the nostalgic beep, ensuring you never miss a beat.
