Cabin Air Filter Upgrade Kit for LandCruiser 100 Series (1998–2007)

Are you the owner of a 100 Series LandCruiser 1998–2007 imported to Australia who is experiencing issues with dust and pollen entering the cabin due to the absence of a factory-installed cabin filter? If so, we have an excellent solution to enhance your comfort!

The good news is that some models are already equipped with the cabin filter setup but may not have filters inside.

To check, look for the access lid as shown in the photo below, marked “Filters Ready Setup”. If you have this lid, you just need to purchase and install a pair of filters. You can buy Genuine Toyota filters at a great price here

Alternatively, you can find Aftermarket filters available here

If you do not have the access lid, you will require the Upgrade Kit. We have provided helpful information on installing the Upgrade Kit (links are included at the end of this article). We have assembled this kit for you with genuine filters here

Moreover, the upgrade kit with aftermarket filters can be found here

Additionally, there are two types of evaporators and heaters installed on the same model.

Consequently, installing the cabin filter for some 100 Series LandCruisers requires no modification, allowing the filter to fit seamlessly into the cavity. However, in other models with a shorter cavity, the filter may only be halfway through. In this case, simply cut the filter in half and trim the tab off the other end to ensure the door fits properly.

How to cut the filter

There are also informative videos available on YouTube regarding this matter. Try to search for “Adding Cabin Air Filter to Land Cruiser 100 Series” for more guidance.

Filter measurements: Length = 305 mm; width = 133 mm; thickness = 20 mm

Remember to replace your cabin air filters every 15,000–30,000 km.
